Most of the content I write up for Let’s Talk Tech tends to be done on text editors like Pages, Google Docs or more recently, Markdown editors like Mou.
I could type my work up directly in to WordPress, but the interface is just so cluttered that I don’t enjoy the writing experience.
Currently featured in the Mac App Store, Blogo is an app for OS X claims to be the “easiest and fastest way to write, publish and manage multiple blogs”. I’ve never used an app to manage a blog before, but having tried out the beta version of Blogo I was impressed almost immediately — it feels simple, intuitive and packs some decent features that make me want to write on it.
Unlike the other text editors I use, Blogo’s direct connection to WordPress makes it super convenient to use too.
Amongst its features, Blogo allows you to manage multiple WordPress blogs (support for other platforms coming soon), edit images (including adding filters, resizing & cropping), view previews of your content, manage comments and it even integrates with Evernote.
