I reviewed the Olloclip 4-in-1 lens for iPhone a short while ago and was really impressed with it. The range of options it has on offer compared to an iPhone’s stock camera makes it a lot of fun to take photos, and I loved its portability and ease of use, too.
Now it seems that Olloclip wants to take things further and give iPad owners a taste of the action, with a 4-in-1 lens for iPad Air and iPad Mini.
In the box, you get the following 4 lenses:
- Fisheye lens: captures approximately a 180° field of view
- Wide-Angle lens: nearly doubles the iPad’s normal field of view
- 10x Macro lens: 10X magnification with an 18mm focus distance
- 15x Macro lens: 15X magnification with a 12mm focus distance
Now I’m no advocate of taking photos with a tablet — mainly because it seems very impractical compared to using a smartphone — but seeing as not everyone owns an iPhone, it seems like a good way to make Olloclip’s lenses more accessible.
