So let’s get the numbers out of the way. The Tylt Energi case has a 3500 mAh battery, meaning it’ll charge your iPhone from 0 to full charge and then some. Now that’s plenty of juice to get you through the day, but beyond its simple ability to charge your phone, this case has a few extra noteworthy features to talk about.
Versatile design
Tylt’s Energi sliding power case consists of two parts: the main case battery case itself, and a protective inner sleeve that stays on your phone. That’s super convenient because unlike other battery cases where you’ll need to take off your main case to then slide your phone into the battery case, the Tylt Energi comes with a nice soft-touch plastic case already.
All you’ve got to do is slide it into the main battery case to start charging, and slide it out when you’re done. No need to be swapping cases around!
If you’re worrying about the protection Tylt’s inner case offers, don’t. It covers your phone all around and feels more than dense enough to protect you from any serious knocks.
Around the back of the battery case, you’ll find four LEDs on top of the on/off button to give you an idea of how much charge is left. It seems like an obvious thing to have, but you’d be surprised how many battery products don’t have this. What’s more, the case stops charging your phone when it hits 100% — preserving any additional juice for when you really need it.
Even from a design perspective, the Tylt Energi sliding power case has a relatively slim design and thanks to its all-black finish, it looks nice and slick too.
