The Good: NueVue have made a stylish iPhone sleeve here that protects your phone adequately and keeps it clear of smudges and fingerprints at the same time.
The Bad: A little pricey at £45, and the top of your device will be left exposed even when inside the sleeve.
The Bottom Line: A good option for those who like the versatility of using an iPhone without a case and want to keep it clean. Just be prepared to pay for it.
Most iPhone cases serve the purpose of protecting your phone, but NueVue have created these stylish sleeves that also double as an iPhone cleaner.
Lined with microfibre on the inside, NueVue sleeves essentially wipe down your iPhone every time you slide it back in. So if you hate having smudges and fingerprints all over your phone this could be the iPhone sleeve/case for you.

I’ve got the version for iPhone 6s Plus here, but NueVue have options for all iPhone sizes including the 7 and 7 Plus.
With genuine Napa leather on the outside, the NueVue sleeve for iPhone feels really soft and luxurious in the hand. I’m loving the tan leather look on my sleeve, and even the orange stitching has been done to a high standard.
NueVue also has a vegan version of their cases which is quite unique, and in fact that claim to be the only cases endorsed by Peta for Vegans and the Vegetarian Society. It’s certainly a nice touch for those who prefer not to purchase real leather.
With a small cutout at the bottom of the NueVue sleeve you can easily eject your iPhone when you need it, and when you’re done just slide it in again while pressing down the back & front of the sleeve. Pressing down the sleeve essentially rubs the microfibre interior against the surface of your iPhone, helping to clean it even better.
You’ll be able to access your Lightning port when the iPhone is inside the sleeve, however if you want to plug in some headphones you’ll need to insert your phone the other way around (with the bottom up) since the port is covered the other way.
So the NueVue sleeve cleans, but does it actually protect your iPhone?
When your iPhone is inside the NueVue sleeve it’s well protected with a good amount of padding all round. That said, the top of your device is left exposed and it would get knocked if you were to drop it. Your iPhone would also be bare outside of the case, so if you’re the clumsy type keep that in mind.
NueVue leather sleeve for iPhone 7 & 7Plus: verdict
Although I find the £45 price a little much for an iPhone case/sleeve, this is actually one of my favourites. It feels great in the hand, protects your phone well enough and cleans it at the same time. Taking into account that I’m always wiping down my iPhone and this does it for me, the NueVue sleeve earns a recommendation.
